About the Hosts

Jeremy Barahona

Jeremy is the son of immigrant parents from El Salvador and Ecuador. He grew up in SoFlo and came to faith in Christ at a faithful Spanish-speaking church at 13 years old. He is married to Angelica and is Papi to Junia. He has a B.A. in Theology from Moody Bible Institute and an M.A. in Intercultural Studies from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Prior to planting The Light WPB, he helped develop Pursue Scholars and was on staff at The Brook.

Joshua Jihoon Suh

Joshua Jihoon Suh is a second-generation Korean born and raised in Chula Vista, CA. He currently lives in the West Humboldt Park neighborhood of Chicago and serves at The Brook, a church on Chicago’s northwest side. Joshua received his B.A. in Music Ministry from Point Loma Nazarene University. He has a passion to love and serve the local community through the Church. He is a culture enthusiast, eager to appreciate people’s art, history, tradition, and of the absolute most importance, FOOD.
